Our dad has been living at Lakeview Adult Family Home since the middle of 2018. We are very happy with the care he receives there. He is comfortable and content which we feel is because of the safe, and friendly atmosphere provided by the caregivers --who are outstanding.  This begins with the care home owner, Aurica, a registered nurse, who is actively involved.  She is knowledgeable and has much experience working with seniors.  She works collaboratively with our dad as well as with us, family members, addressing concerns as they come up. For example, our dad suffers from dementia and as his condition has progressed, she and the caregivers have been very adept at adjusting their care to meet  his changing needs.  Any changes in his condition are communicated promptly.  The Lakeview AFH provides a safe, and very clean home-like environment.  The common living areas overlook Lake Washington so residents are often entertained by watching the birds and activities on the lake.  Food is freshly prepared, appetizing  and nutritious.  Activities( games/ live music) for the residents have been resumed from pre- pandemic times. Aurica has been vigilant in following the state recommendations to keep residents safe during the pandemic. We highly recommend Lakeview Adult Family Home.  We feel very fortunate to have found it!
